• 1987:
  Unicbank (today Raiffeisen Bank), founded by RZB and other partners in Hungary the year before, commences operations. This is the first step for Raiffeisen into Central and Eastern Europe, accompanied by 21 employees.
  
  
• 2001:
  The RZB Group is present in 11 Central and Eastern European countries with a staff of more than 10,000 employees.
  
  
• 2008:
  Raiffeisen International Bank-Holding AG manages banks and leasing companies on 17 markets of the CEE-region with a staff of more than 60,000 employees.
